Redmi 1S running on Android Lollipop 5.0.2

After updating your Xiaomi Redmi 1s to Kitkat and other Xiaomi smartphones like Mi 3, Note and Mi4. Indian users are eagerly waiting for Lollipop update for Xiaomi Redmi 1s, Mi 3, Note and Mi 4 version. As per MI stated in their news, the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is on the way to all these xiaomi mi mobiles even in INDIA soon.

Android lollipop has been ported to our Xiaomi phones. And now we have the Xiaomi Redmi 1S running on Android Lollipop 5.0.2. This has been ported by our MIUI fan Syhost.

• With Custom recovery like TWRP and CWM

Procedure

Step 1: Download The Android Lollipop Rom For Redmi 1S and Also the Gapps file.

Step 2: Go into the recovery mode. ( Volume Down+ Power button).

Step 3: Go to Wipe and Select Wipe data/ factory reset and also wipe the Dalvik cache and cache partition.

Step 4: Click on Install and navigate to the downloaded file in your phone and then click on Flash zip file.

Step 5: One the process is completed, navigate to the next Gapps file and flash it the same way.

Step 6:  Yahh..Reboot your phone by selecting ‘reboot system’. That’s it!
